After graduating from Bible School, they returned to their home state in Virginia and began working with a vibrant local church in a variety of ministry positions. Gary and Harriet have been involved with missions since 1986 when they were sent by their church as missionaries to the country of Nigeria, West Africa. After two years of missionary service they returned to the U.S. and became heavily involved in evangelism and missions mobilization for local, national, and international outreach.
In 2001, Gary became the International Director for Elim Fellowship which involved providing oversight and support for 130 missionaries and family members, serving in over twenty different countries.
In 2010, the Ham’s started the ministry of the 11th Hour Christian Initiatives which works to build partnerships with local churches, Christian organizations, and ministries that will produce workers for God’s harvest locally and globally.
